Dr Mahmoud Tabbal is a board-certified Consultant General Surgeon with over 20 years of international experience across the USA, Canada, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan. He currently serves as Chief of the General, Robotic, Bariatric, Paediatric, and Acute Care Surgery Division at one of Dubai’s leading hospitals, and most recently held the position of Head of Hepatobiliary Surgery at King Fahad Specialist Hospital in Saudi Arabia.

Dr Tabbal completed his advanced surgical training in the USA and Canada and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. His subspecialty training includes hepatopancreatobiliary and transplant surgery through the American Society of Transplant Surgeons and the American Hepatopancreatobiliary Association. He also holds a Jordanian Board Certificate in General Surgery, an Advanced Diploma in Laparoscopic Surgery from France, and an Advanced Robotic Surgery Training Certificate from the USA.

His clinical expertise spans General Surgery, Minimally Invasive and Robotic Surgery, Hepatobiliary and Transplant Surgery, and Advanced Surgical Oncology. Dr Tabbal is an active member of several leading regional and international surgical societies and is a regular speaker at prominent medical congresses worldwide.
